Mission
Intertwined within the threads of red, white, and blue lies a story of a country and its people. The American Flag is a symbol of our nation’s freedom and a representation of its citizens and their history. The National Flag Foundation honors our nation’s greatest symbol, bringing awareness to its history while teaching the protocol for its care, handling, and etiquette.
About the FoundationLight to Unite
On the Fourth of July, Americans are called to fly the Stars and Stripes and to light cities, towns, and landmarks in red, white, and blue. One Flag, one nation, under God.
